![]() but scoring this as a film on its own, I think it is deserving of between five and seven stars.Who would have thought way back in 2006, the Pixar movie Cars, about talking cars, would then create one of the biggest franchises in the entire world when it comes to animation, which has also expanded into the world of online gaming, as you can see because we are talking about the Disney Cars Games category of our website, where we are happy to bring you all the classic games that have come out over the years based on these characters, and even some featuring their spin-off series, since we also have the Disney Planes Games series for you all! Come check out and play the best Disney Cars Games online! They have demonstrated that they are willing to go in entirely new directions with this world - maybe if they make a third film, they can make something truly worthy of the Pixar name? If I were rating this in comparison to other Pixar films, my score would be lower. ![]() Nevertheless, I feel like this is an enjoyable installment in the franchise, never letting your attention wander and always ready with a clever idea. Whereas the first film had enough focus on character development to compensate for this, the subplot about the tested friendship between McQueen and Mater seems especially insubstantial here. It never feels like there is any real danger, as there is with the Toy Story films. They are not alone, they are not lost, they have friends and allies and the resources to get out of any situation. The main weakness of this film is a failure to create any kind of sympathy for the characters. Each film has its own appeals and drawbacks. Whether anyone will prefer the first film or the second is entirely their preference, and it is wrong to say that one is better than the other. Whereas the original Cars was thematically slow and patient, this one deliberately takes things in the exact opposite direction. This movie is not so much a sequel to the first as an affectionate James Bond parody that happens to be set in the Cars universe. Cars and Cars 2 are intelligently written and filled with more detail than you could comfortably fit into a single screening. However, being Pixar, they still make these films better than anyone else would have with the same material. The protagonists of Cars are very big in a very small world, so do not play to the strengths of Pixar. The best of Pixar's films have protagonists who are a small part of a very large world and are almost helpless against incredible odds - Toy Story, Wall-E, Finding Nemo etc. However, they still looks like Jeff and Lewis. ![]() Mochanych (Lewis Hamilton) voiced by Oleksiy Mochanov Sheva (Jeff Gorvett) voiced by Andriy Shevchenko In Ukrainian release both Jeff Gorvett and Lewis Hamilton renamed after their voice actors: Raoul ÇaRoule some French releases (Also appear in other releases, but don't appear at this scene) Sebastian Schnell voiced by Sebastian Vettel German release (Also appear in other releases, but voiced by other voice actor, called Max Schnell, and don't appear at this scene)Ĭarla Veloso voiced by Claudia Leitte Brazilian release (Also appear in other releases, but voiced by other voice actor and don't appear at this scene) Long Ge Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese versions, however, not Taiwan) release Jan Nilsson voiced by Jan Nilsson Swedish release Vitaly Petrov voiced by Vitaly Petrov Russian release These include:įrosty voiced by Mark Winterbottom Australian releaseįernando Alonso voiced by Fernando Alonso Spanish release Most of these characters use the same body shape as Max Schnell. This condition is usually seen at a late stage of the sexually-transmitted infection syphilis and shows that the disease has affected the nervous system. In Argyll Robertson pupil, both pupils are small and there is no reaction to light, but constriction for looking at near objects still happens. It can occur in babies who are injured during birth, and in people with disease of the blood vessels, cancer or following some types of operation. In another condition, there is a small pupil on one side, a drooping of the upper lid, and no sweating on the same side of the face. Usually a cause cannot be found, but rarely this can affect people following an infection or surgery to the eye socket. In 1 in 500 people, the nerves that control pupil constriction in one eye do not work properly (Tonic or Adie’s pupil). In a fifth of people, the pupils are usually slightly different in size (‘physiological anisocoria’). Normally this system works well, without our being aware of it, but there are many ways in which control can be lost. The pupils also constrict when we look at near objects (for example when we read), which makes focusing easier. This makes a 20-times difference to the amount of light entering the eye. ![]() We all know that bright light makes the pupils smaller and dim light makes them larger. The pupils have muscles to constrict them (make them smaller) and muscles to dilate them (make them larger) and these are controlled by a network of nerves from the brain which works automatically. The pupil (the circular black area in the middle of the coloured part of the eye) is usually the same size as the pupil on the other side, and the two pupils usually react together (for example to light). Summary What are Abnormalities of the Pupil? Bilateral miosis with little or no constriction to direct light, but with apparently normal, pupil constriction to near targets.Horner syndrome that occurs very early in life can lead to iris heterochromia.Anhydrosis varies from the entire half face to a small patch on the forehead, depending on the location of the lesion.Anisocoria is more pronounced in the dark (particularly in the first 5 s of darkness). This sign is reportedly absent in 12% of Horner’s syndrome Classic triad of ipsilateral ptosis, pupillary miosis, and facial anhydrosis (absence of sweating), but rarely all signs present.Affected pupil becomes smaller over time. The fellow pupil may become involved later Pupil may be oval-shaped or shows segmental constriction.Affected pupil larger than normal, with decreased response to light but preserved or enhanced near response.Degree of anisocoria remains relatively constant in light and dark conditions.Thought to result from a lesion in the midbrain that disables the pathway for the pupillary light reflex but does not affect the more ventral pathway mediating the near reaction.Usually benign or occurs after surgery, but could also indicate a carotid dissection or neoplasia.Caused by interruption of the oculosympathetic innervation at any point along the neural pathway from the hypothalamus to the orbit.Rare in adults, birth prevalence of 1 in 6250 for those with a congenital onset. When associated with absent or poor tendon reflexes known as Holmes-Adie syndrome.May also be seen in patients with generalised peripheral or autonomic neuropathies Sjögren’s disease and rheumatoid arthritis). varicella zoster) and a number of connective tissue diseases (e.g. Usually idiopathic but case reports of associations with viral infections (e.g.Prevalence 2 per 1,000 of the general population. Most commonly seen in women (2.6:1) aged 20-40 years.Caused by parasympathetic denervation at the level of the ciliary ganglion.Depending on the level of illumination, found in up to 20% of individuals.Unequal pupil sizes in the absence of an underlying pathological cause.Although pupil anomalies are commonly benign, they may be the first or only manifestation of a serious or even life-threatening disorder. ![]() Go to import content and choose "scan directory" to add you games. Go to settings/configuration and set "save configuration on quit" to off. Go to settings/user interface and set menu to xmb. There's some things I always change first before other settings to make the menu navigation better. I'm going to write this guide with the ui set to xmb gui (since that is what I'm using.) Reorder the genre tags so that "Rock" is before other genres like "Chill".Someone" from a song's title and instead add another contributing artist. Change all instances of "Song title (Someone's Remix)" to "Song title ".For instance I could use mp3tag to export all tag info to a massive text file, modify that text file with scripting, and then re-import the tags to the files with mp3tag. If all else fails I will probably end up getting cozy with one of the mp3tag-like programs, learning how to best adapt it to my uses. (I’m not interested in converting my wma files to MP3 though - size is important for me. ![]() If you can think of any different ways to accomplish what I’m after I would be all ears for that too. But I figured I would ask here before giving up my search. So I understand that such a utility likely does not exist. I know that it is a lot to ask to be able to read and write ID3 tags from wma files, all through the command line. I’ve probably downloaded 25 or 30 apps in total and found no winners yet. mp3tag) but none of these have seemed to be satisfactorily able to make the complex modifications I would like. EasyTAG is an ID3 tag editor for Linux that specializes in giving users ultimate control for tag editing, rather than only adding data through an automatic scanning system. I’ve also looked at many higher level tag-editing utilities (e.g. I’ve looked through the windows api for changing tags in wma files but it’s way over my head. wma format which is unsupported by this and all other utilities I’ve found. (I give a few examples below to give you an idea of what kind of operations I’m talking about.) I apologize - I don't really know if this is a good place to ask this question, but frankly I'm at the end of my rope here and will take whatever I can get. ![]() ![]() But, this is a problem that can be solved easily as there are many places where royalty free music can be found. Unfortunately, not everyone has the talent to become a musician. Such a problem can be avoided completely if you can create your own music to be used for streaming. You also need to be careful when selecting audio tracks as it can lead to a copyright issue. So, it is better to keep the number of scenes as few as possible to prevent mistakes, like switching to a wrong scene or forgetting to make a switch when the time comes. You are free to add as many scenes as possible, but it might become a problem when you are live streaming even if each scene has already had a distinctive name. When you are streaming, you can switch between scenes. While sources go into scenes, scenes are used in your video. Every scene that you create can contain one or multiple sources such as browser, webcam, picture, terminal window, game, and more. And the bottom area, it is split into five sections.Īmong them are the two sections called Scenes and Sources. Directly below the menu is the preview area, largely occupied by a black screen when OBS Studio isn’t capturing any video. Located at the top, this menu contains some advanced features. Any time you need it, click the Tools menu. The wizard appears as soon as you launch OBS Studio, but it is optional. The settings can be modified later if necessary. ![]() Is it for streaming or recording? The wizard will then optimize the settings automatically based on your answer and hardware performance. The wizard, which is named “Auto Configuration Wizard”, basically asks how you plan to use the software. OBS Studio packs tons of configurations that may look intimidating, but it also comes with a wizard to help you with the setup on the first run. ![]() Now onto my second recommendation: maybe you don't always need to keep an eye on your PC's every electrical action. That is a bit of an all-in-one open RGB control app that not only simplifies the many apps you have to install and keep up-to-date, but also allows you to then ditch the proprietary monitoring software for something simpler. Though you might find you can get the same functionality from third-party tools such as OpenRGB. So sometimes you're a bit stuck with one of them.Įven I'm stuck with a few of them and I'm not all that pleased about it. Those added extras are normally always to do with proprietary lighting or features on the manufacturers products that you might not be able to control easily elsewhere. There are tons to choose from, every manufacturer has one, basically, but they all achieve something along the lines of system monitoring with a few added extras along the way. Though what I've never been a fan of are the all-in-one manufacturer specific system monitoring tools, and that's why you won't find me recommending any here today. HWMonitor is fast, simple, logs all the information you could need out of it, and keeps track of every PC vital stat you could reasonably be after. That helps when you're doing some actively to the system and wish to monitor the impact those changes have in real-time. While it's effectively more of the same by way of monitoring, the handy GPU overclocking tools and live graph presentation really aid in easily understanding the monitoring data presented to you over time. I'd also like to give an honourable mention to the old hand that is MSI's Afterburner software. The built-in tools Performance tab offers a lot of data nowadays without the need for any third-party tools, and it'll even report your graphics card's temperature. Another system monitoring tool worth mentioning, and in keeping with the spirit of minimal fuss, is Windows' own Task Manager. ![]() Tolkien Fans in Australia and the Philippines Can Recruit Iconic Characters, Assemble Powerful Armies and Pursue the One Ringĭear Tacticians, we are recruiting new members to join our team of Fearless Pioneers who will be rewarded for creating content with The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War's stamp of approval. Search for DisplayAdapter and if it is called “DisplayAdapter=0”, change the 0 to a 1. In your documents, there is a folder called “The Lord of The Rings Online” and inside of that is another called “UserPreferences64.ini”. If you are running an older computer and try to launch your computer tells you the game cannot load “MSVCR100.DLL” which you can check yourself by running your own files from the folder or just from launching the game, you can get an even older redistributable on. The file is a part of Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 which you can download, and the file is “vc_redist.圆4.exe”. Those can all be found on Microsoft’s Support website. There are some redistribution packages that will need to be downloaded before you will be able to launch the game in 64-bit. If you begin using the 64-bit client and you can no longer even launch the game, it is likely because Windows cannot load “vcruntime140_1.dll”. I too had a few issues getting it going but it was easy to solve. I've found that NetBeans-based remote development greatly increases productivity when using Java for the Raspberry Pi. ![]() Why remote development based on NetBeans? That said, I have purchased sensors from vendors that supplied "drivers" for the sensors only in Python (or C/C++ for the Arduino), so I had to write the Java equivalent the extra effort is not necessarily productive, but can result in greater insight into a sensor's operation. There are things that one can do in C that one cannot do in Java, but again, so far everything I wanted to do has been addressed by Java fans in the Pi community. ![]() So far, I've been able to do everything in Java that I can do in Python. The bottom line: Java is faster than Python. I consider C++ an object-oriented "wrapper" around C that does nothing to eliminate the hazards of C. I feel the safety also improves programmer productivity. Java prevents such hazards, so Java is safer. Objectively, the fact that you can do anything means that you are only an obscure bug (e.g., bad pointer arithmetic or an errant memcpy) away from overwriting memory and potentially crashing the program or even the entire system. I am also not fond of C since I (subjectively) dislike some of its characteristics that I find arcane, archaic, or both for example, explicit pointers. You can do pretty much anything, and you can do it about as fast as possible in fact, this source suggests C can run up to 7X as fast as Java. This source shows that Java is always faster than Python 3, and in fact can run hundreds of times faster, depending on the task.Ĭ in my opinion, is a "high level machine language", i.e., something that is very close to the system hardware, or at least the operating system. There is one characteristic of Python for which my dislike is objective - performance. I am an experienced programmer and am not fond of Python due to an admittedly subjective dislike of a number of its characteristics, for example, dynamic typing. ![]() Python is in effect "promoted" for use on the Pi, at least in part for its ease-of-learning for new programmers. The most recent releases of Raspbian include development and runtime support for all these languages. ![]() There are many programming languages available for the Raspberry Pi, but I'll limit the discussion to "professional grade" programming languages that target standalone programs, support multi-tasking, allow hardware and network access, etc. The rest of this introduction describes the motivation for using Java and for remote development using NetBeans. Magic! You can even debug the running program, setting breakpoints and examining variable values. Once everything is set up properly, you can write a Java program in NetBeans and then a single click compiles and builds the program on the workstation, downloads the program to the Pi, runs the program on the Pi, and delivers output to the NetBeans console. NetBeans runs on a workstation (a desktop or laptop computer, not the Raspberry Pi) connected via Wifi to the Raspberry Pi. The approach is not only efficient, it is free!įundamentally, the approach is remote development using NetBeans. I've used the approach to develop Java capabilities ranging from low level device support to multi-threaded and network-based programs. This Instructable describes a very efficient approach for developing Java programs for the Raspberry Pi. ![]() “Slime Rancher 2 will launch into Early Access with a big world to explore, many different slimes to collect and combine, and an introduction to the game story and the mystery behind Rainbow Island.
